Dermatological surgery includes the diagnosis and surgical treatment of problems of both a medical nature and aesthetic that may appear on a patient’s skin, nails or mucous tissues. Therapeutic procedures include a range of different methods: surgical, reconstructive and aesthetic. The clinic practices: Classical Surgery (using a scalpel), cryotherapy (freezing skin tissues with liquid nitrogen), electrosurgery – excision by high-frequency method, laser therapeutic and aesthetic procedures (removal of lesions for aesthetic purposes).
Surgical procedures are performed using:
- scalpel – a classic method, completed by performing a surgical suture, which subsequently either needs to be removed or not
- surgical laser– carried out by the energy of laser radiation
- radiofrequency surgery is a method for excising tissues with a radiofrequency electrode
